Big Trouble in Little China poem by Stefano Donno

In the heart of Chinatown, a hero was born

Jack Burton, a trucker, with a heart of gold adorned

His journey began, with a wager and a bet

But soon he found himself in the midst of a dangerous threat

The mystic underworld, a place so wild

Where magic and martial arts were the ruling child

With his wit and courage, Jack fought to save the day

Defeating Lo Pan, the villain, in a thrilling display

With his trusted sidekick, Wang Chi by his side

Jack faced the terrors of the dark, with nothing to hide

From the Wing Kong to the Three Storms, he battled them all

A true hero in the midst of an epic brawl

The film, a masterpiece of action and fun

With humor and thrills, it kept us all on the run

A tribute to the kung fu movies of old

With a modern twist, it left our hearts bold

For in Big Trouble in Little China, we found

A tale of courage and strength, with victory unbound

And in Jack Burton, we saw a hero so true

Whose bravery and heart, will forever shine through.

In agony and pain ... The flagellation of Christ by Caravaggio - poem by Stefano Donno

In agony and pain, He bore it all

The lashes, the strikes, the merciless fall

The flagellation of Christ, a scene so raw

Captured by Caravaggio, in vivid awe

His body torn, His spirit shattered

Yet He endured, through the pain that mattered

For love and sacrifice, He paid the price

With every whip, every thorn, every vice

The darkness enveloped, the light grew dim

But still, He stood, tall and grim

A symbol of strength, of faith unbroken

In this moment, His spirit spoken

The canvas captures, the emotion so real

The blood, the sweat, the wounds that heal

A masterpiece of pain, a vision so raw

The flagellation of Christ, forever in awe

For in this moment, we see the power

Of love and sacrifice, in its darkest hour

And in His suffering, we find hope anew

For in His pain, He made all things new.

Gunny, the sergeant, the leader of men ... poem by Stefano Donno

In the heat of battle, on foreign shores,

A soldier fights, for what he adores.

His gun, his only companion, his friend,

On which he relies, until the bitter end.

The gunny, the sergeant, the leader of men,

A mentor, a teacher, a fatherly friend.

He guides them, he molds them, he makes them strong,

For the battles ahead, for the war, they belong.

The pain, the sorrow, the loss they feel,

Is numbed by the gun, the metal, the steel.

It gives them power, it gives them might,

In the darkest of moments, it brings them light.

But the gunny knows, the toll it takes,

The weight of war, the lives it breaks.

He tries to shield them, from the pain,

But in the end, it's all in vain.

For war, it changes, who we are,

It leaves us scarred, it leaves us marred.

And the gunny, he knows, all too well,

That the toll of war, is a living hell.

So he fights on, with his men by his side,

With the gun in hand, he will not hide.

And when the battle's won, and the war is done,

The gunny will look back, and remember the ones,

Who fought and died, for a cause they believed,

Who left behind, the ones they loved and grieved.

And the gunny, he'll stand, with head held high,

And salute his fallen, with a tear in his eye.

The Fly poem by Stefano Donno

In the lab, the experiment begins,

A man and machine, merging within.

Teleportation, a scientific dream,

But little did they know, of what it would seem.

The fly, the unsuspecting guest,

A transformation, quite grotesque.

Slowly, surely, it starts to merge,

A nightmare, a horror, a terrifying surge.

The man, once handsome, now a beast,

The fly, once small, now a feast.

A tragedy, a curse, a fate unkind,

A warning, to all who seek to find.

The boundaries of science, the limits of man,

Should not be crossed, without a plan.

For what we do, can come at a cost,

And the consequences, cannot be lost.

The fly, a symbol, of what can be,

When we play with nature, carelessly.

A lesson, for us all to heed,

To tread with caution, and not to exceed.

For in the end, we all must pay,

The price of our curiosity, one day.

And the fly, a reminder, of what can be,

When we don't respect, the laws of destiny.

Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin ... From KGB agent to Russian zar poem by Stefano Donno

From KGB agent to Russian czar,

A leader known both near and far,

Vladimir Putin, a man of might,

With steely gaze and iron sight.

A master of the political game,

His power grows, his foes to tame,

A strategist both fierce and bold,

A leader who cannot be controlled.

From Moscow to the world at large,

His voice is heard, his plans take charge,

With tactics shrewd and ruthless might,

He guides his country through the night.

For some a hero, for some a foe,

His legacy will surely grow,

As time reveals what history will say,

Of Putin, leader of today.

In Middle Earth where shadows reign ... (memorycard_ The Lord of The Rings) poem by Stefano Donno

In Middle Earth where shadows reign,

The fate of all is on the wane,

Darkness creeps and evil spreads,

As armies march with armored heads.

A fellowship of the brave,

A journey fraught with danger's wave,

Nine to conquer, one to rule,

The ring of power, a curse so cruel.

Through mountains, forests, rivers wide,

The ring bearer and his friends abide,

Their spirits high, their hope unbroken,

As Sauron's wrath remains unspoken.

The bond of friendship, strong and true,

Their love for one another grew,

And in the end, they triumphed o'er,

The darkness that had spread before.

Though scars remain, and wounds still ache,

The victory won, they did not break,

And Middle Earth, forever free,

From Sauron's grip, shall ever be.

Lupin the Third, a legend they say, a master thief in his own unique way ... poem by Stefano Donno

In a world of shadows and intrigue, Where secrets lie and capers take seed, There strides a man of cunning and flair, With lupine grace...
