A dream of hope, a call for change,
A vision bold, yet not so strange,
A man who stood for what was right,
And fought for justice day and night.
Martin Luther King, a name so dear,
Whose words still ring so loud and clear,
A leader of the civil rights,
Who fought for freedom and for light.
His dream was one of unity,
Of all mankind in harmony,
Of love and peace, of equal rights,
Of breaking down dividing lines.
With faith and courage he did stand,
Against oppression's iron hand,
He marched and spoke with eloquence,
Inspiring hope and confidence.
And though he left this world too soon,
His legacy will always loom,
A beacon shining in the night,
A symbol of what's good and right.
So let us honor Martin's name,
And keep alive his burning flame,
Let's work together, hand in hand,
To build a brighter, fairer land.
