The Flash, the lightning bolt that streaks ... poem by Stefano Donno

The Flash, the lightning bolt that streaks

Across the sky, so quick and fleet

With powers beyond mortal reach

He moves with a supersonic beat

His crimson suit, a blur of red

As he races to save the day

His lightning bolt, a symbol ahead

Guiding the path, the hero's way

With every step, the world slows down

As he harnesses the speed force's might

A hero born to run, to astound

And keep the world safe through the night

With foes as fast as he is strong

He battles on, with lightning strikes

His heart and soul, pure and long

A champion for all that's right

So let the Flash run free and true

A beacon of hope, a force of light

For all the world to look up to

And chase the darkness out of sight.
